Not Allowed? Why?

When the thief realized how scared Osman was, he took off his mask. Osman flinched for a moment but quickly relaxed once he understood that the man wasn’t going to harm him. Osman had looked at him but didn’t recognize him right away. A second later, he saw that the thief was actually Ferhat, someone who used to attend his school but was expelled. Despite Ferhat not shouting, Osman, overwhelmed by the shock of the situation, fainted.

When Osman woke up, he was on the ground, with Ferhat beside him. With Ferhat’s help, he stood up. After resting a bit, Osman threw a few punches at Ferhat, but none of them landed. Frustrated, Osman tried to kick him instead. Caught off guard, Ferhat took a solid kick to the thigh. After about five minutes, they set off on their way. Osman was now free from that annoying “fear,” and he felt incredibly relieved.

As they walked, Osman asked:

“Ferhat, why are you stealing?”
“Ah, Osman, if only you knew what I’ve been through.”
“Well, tell me then, buddy.”
“Alright. You know I used to attend your school, but I got expelled.”
“Yeah.”
“But do you know why I got expelled?”
“No.”
“Of course, you wouldn’t know.”
“So, why did you get expelled?”
“Look, you guys are in your final year now, so you can come to school freely, right?”
“Exactly.”
