Track Your Habits Accomplish Your Goals
I don’t know about you, but consistently sticking to somethings can be hard. This isn’t a new year's resolution but I'm ready for change.
Things that I want to accomplish:
Exercising consistently: I know this is a goal for most, but the discipline and commitment it takes is difficult. I often wonder why it’s so hard to have consistency, but I think it comes down to wanting instant gratification, instant result. The times we are in and technology causes everything to come at us fast and we expect that to be a part of everything, but it's some things we must really work at, and this is my goal with exercising to not expect instant results, to expect it to be hard but have determination to accomplish the goal.
Drinking more water: Ugh I know that should be a given, but I hate to admit I’m not as committed as I should be, and the sugary drinks take over. I mean I’m sure you can understand. Imagine your favorite soda right in front of you then there is water, choosing that soda over water is enticing right, but overall water is the healthiest choice so I’ am committed to drink 2x as much as I have been drinking. There are many benefits to drinking water that can overall affect our body is a positive way and my goal is to experience the benefit of a well hydrated body.
