I Tested Out ChatGPT Just For Fun And The Results I Got Were Astonishing

Have we reached the end of human authenticity?

A few weeks ago, my husband mentioned ChatGPT, and said it had apparently been used to pass the Bar Exam.

I thought it was ridiculous — the idea that an app could understand nuances about the legality of the law, to be proficient enough to pass the Bar Exam.

In my mind, it was inconceivable.

It just didn’t make sense, so I dismissed ChatGPT altogether and didn’t give it much afterthought.

Some weeks after that conversation, I came across a blog post, here on medium, where the author complained that she was unable to monetise her writing on the platform, because medium believed she was making use of AI technology to write her articles.

The author went on to cite ChatGPT, which she said she only used for the purposes of brainstorming ideas.

That finally sparked my curiosity!

Why was everyone talking about ChatGPT?

What was so great about it?

And why were some platforms getting really bothered about writers utilising AI technology to write their articles. I was curious to find out.
