My friends ask, “What am I going to do?” Women who are trying to figure out what they want to do with the next phase of their life. They’ve spent years in roles they may, or may not, have enjoyed and now find their life is not what they expected. And they are at a loss for what happens next. For any number of reasons, they don’t know what to do. So if this sounds like something you’re going through, let’s figure out how to move forward and have fun doing it.

11 Suggestions for Figuring Out What You Truly Want To Do:

  1. Remember what it was like as a child when you believed you could do anything? Every day, for a week, write down 25 things you want to try. It could be something minor, like a new ice cream flavor, or significant, like competing in a triathlon. Don’t worry about how much anything costs, how much time it takes, or if it’s even possible. Instead, be creative, open-minded, and excited. Try this writing exercise at different locations or times of day…
