A Life Coach’s Guide to Figuring It Out
We sat on the grass in her newly built home.
It was the messy result of a broken relationship, a life’s worth of savings and a daunting feeling of what next?
“I don’t have any purpose,” she proclaimed. “I don’t know what to do next.”
“Start a side hustle,” I prompted her.
“But I don’t have any skills or anything to sell? What would I even do as a side hustle?”
I looked around, “How about creating a how to guide for building a house from scratch. People in their 20’s and 30’s have no idea how to do that and you did it with so much ease.”
With a background in legal and conveyancing, she already had the insight so many people didn’t. Along with all her soft skills from working in these industries she had a sea of knowledge on these topics.
Maybe this wasn’t her purpose, maybe it wasn’t the thing that would make her millions but then again maybe it was. My friend is still working through these ideas but she tells me everyday her mind is racing to figure out what she can do as a side hustle.
That’s the thing, the seed was planted. She had a new idea and suddenly there was a boost of inspiration…
