God Mocking Me in a Dream
I am not a religious person, but one day I had the most close-to-spiritual and psychedelic dream, during a very long bus ride through Germany, Switzerland, and Italy.
I never had such a crazy dream, loaded with colors, and bright and neon shapes, extremely insane and animated. In this psychedelic atmosphere, I become convinced of the fact, that I am getting in touch with the Divine. It’s an absurd situation, and I am excited to finally have the chance to meet the Big Boss.
God reveals himself in this cotton candy cartoon world through a voice — a slow, deep, calm voice coming from an ethereal and hallucinogenic landscape. He slowly tells me that he’s about to reveal a Big Truth.
I am even more excited and try to concentrate, paying attention to every detail. I know by now that this is a dream, but at the same time, I believe 100% that it’s true and that I am about to learn the greatest of truths.
I try my best to remember every detail so that when I wake up, the Big Truth will not vanish. The suspense goes on for a while, as God speaks very slowly, wanting to make sure I am listening and ready to receive such a revelation. At the climax of my attention, he says something meaningless, like ‘The rock… is… a potato!’ I am like, what? I must have heard wrong. What did he say? But then he repeats once again the same thing, slowly.
I feel as if I have been mocked by God, who is probably laughing at this point, and I suddenly wake up on the bus, surrounded by fellow travelers looking at me in a weird way.
