Quick Guide to Running an AI Model Locally Without Hassle

After seeing all the AI boom, I decided to also board this hype train and see how this AI hype goes. So after digging around, I got to know about AI a lot, like how they simply use all the data you give them, while using the web version of their AI models. If you happen to read the privacy policy of ChatGPT, you’ll know that whatever you put in your input like your prompts, images, docs and videos, etc. All this data can be used by OpenAI itself, you can read it in this image and too.

Other Models like Deepseek also use your data to train their models, which is a big no for me. As I am deeply concerned about my privacy and my data, I thought about using these AI open-source models on my local machine, in other words, my PC. And now I will guide y’all too.

Prerequisites

Things you should know and have are listed below:

  • A computer (obviously).
  • Internet connection.
  • At least 8GB RAM.
  • A decent processor (i3 or better)
