It’s getting heated over the Baltic Sea these days.

In the latest episode of what feels like a real-life geopolitical thriller, Polish fighter jets were scrambled to intercept a Russian Su-24 bomber accused of pulling “dangerous maneuvers” in international airspace.

And honestly?

This isn’t the first time things have gotten spicy up there.

Poland’s Defense Minister, Władysław Kosiniak-Kamysz, spilled the tea today, revealing that NATO’s European command ordered the intercept after the Russian aircraft started acting sus over the Baltic late Thursday.

Polish pilots located the Su-24, swooped in, and (according to the minister) “effectively deterred” it.
