North Korea’s latest attempt to flex its naval muscles just went disastrously sideways — literally.

After a brand-new 5,000-ton destroyer flopped onto its side during a launch ceremony, Kim Jong Un is furious, vowing to arrest those responsible for what he called an “unpardonable criminal act.”

Cue the dramatic music.

The Shipwreck Heard ‘Round the World

Satellite images of the scene at Chongjin port show the warship lying on its starboard side like a beached whale, draped in blue tarps (North Korea’s go-to crisis decor).

State media claims the damage is “not serious,” just some scratches and a bit of seawater in the stern.
