Technology & Emotional Intelligence?

1 min readJun 22, 2019

My web browser has been acting up lately. For the benefit of the ‘not so tech minds’ on here - web browsers store temporary files (cache and cookies) for efficient user experience. Over time the storing of this data causes formatting and loading issues, entirely defeating its original purpose.

In this fast-paced day and age, isn’t a slow browser unacceptable? Interestingly, doesn’t this opinion go beyond technology? What about slow growth, progress, love, success, relationships, recognition, etc.? Don’t we consider all of this to be unacceptable? But just like a web browser, how can our turnaround be immediate, when we burden ourselves with the ‘temporary internet files’ from our past?

I say - “For Optimal Performance Delete Cache, Clear Cookies And Erase Browsing History”. My web browser taught me that.

But hey… what do I know? I’m just here asking the questions!
