Finding your Self Security (Forget about Social Security)

Security is the state of feeling safe, stable, and free from fear or anxiety; pertaining to your home environment, work surroundings, peer selection, and the most important one.. yourself. The sense of security that we feel within ourselves sets the stage for most everything in our lives; our relationships, our performance, our mental and physical health, our success, our happiness. Self security is hard because it’s a personal choice we have to make everyday to be who we are and love the hell out of it.

So, how many of us can say we have full security within ourselves?

Every one of us has our own insecurities that hold us back from certain aspects of life, and it’s a constant battle to tell those voices to sit down and be humble. There isn’t anyone on this earth who is 100% confident in themselves all the time, and if they say they are.. that’s proof that they’re not. People typically have an inflated sense of self when really, they’re the most insecure in the room.
