A heartfelt thank you for sharing my journey on Medium
Every so often, I write a thank you to my readers. I haven’t written one for a while, so I am back to say thank you.
Thank you reader, yes you; thank you for reading and supporting my work. I appreciate you.
I joined Medium in 2022 and quickly learnt that people didn’t really want to read essays. The shorter 3-minute stories were the ones people preferred. I changed my style and eventually, I was nominated for a boost.
Later, I opened a publication, The Difference: Achilles Heal to share my art and support new editors and then We Are Seven, then All’s Well where I offered to illustrate for writers’ who submitted to us.
I have enjoyed taking on some challenges in the form of prompts.
I will share four of my popular stories with you as they are still relevant today and four photographs of some of flowers I have grown. (You can find more of my gardens on Pintrest as Cottage Gardens by Hermione.)
It is Chelsea Flower Show weekend and I am enjoying watching the preparations on TV. I have taken myself off to my favourite Travelodge for a break and then it is back to the work of gardening. Have a great weekend.
