Self-transcendent experiences are moments when you feel like your sense of self and your ego fade away, and you feel connected to everything around you.
Mindfulness.
🙏 Mindfulness being fully present and aware without judging the moment. When you’re mindful, you’re focused on what’s happening around you and not just caught up in your thoughts.
You can feel mindful during or after meditation while sipping tea, or while getting lost in a good book.
You take a moment or two to notice what’s around you. Meditation and mindfulness can even alleviate physical pain.
Flow.
🪼Flow is like being totally in the zone. It’s when you’re super focused on something and forget everything else. It usually happens when you’re working on something that’s both interesting and challenging.
When you are in flow, you often lose track of time because you are so absorbed in your work.
