How I Got Stuck in a Revolving Door and Other Everyday Embarrassments
There are few moments in life when you truly feel like the universe is out to get you. One of those moments is when you find yourself stuck in a revolving door, face pressed against the glass like a confused bird. This, my friends, was the unfortunate situation I found myself in one sunny afternoon, and trust me, the embarrassment was as endless as the rotation of that door.
It all started innocently enough. I was running late, as usual, because apparently, no matter how early I wake up, time somehow disappears into the void. I rushed to the building entrance, where the revolving door awaited me. Now, I know what you’re thinking — how do you mess up a revolving door? You just walk in and let it do the work, right? WRONG.
I confidently stepped into the first available compartment, except I misjudged my timing (as I do with everything in life). Instead of smoothly entering like a normal human being, I got caught halfway between the door and the frame, effectively pinning myself like a sandwich between two very judgmental slices of glass.
