Youth Isn’t the Greatest Currency

Why Women Truly Do Get Better With Age

Women everywhere feel impending doom upon reaching a certain age in life. It could be 25, 30, or 40 but almost every woman has the idea that once they hit a certain age in life their days are pretty much numbered.

A time when their chance to be sexy, youthful and vibrant will have to come to an end and they’ll need to start shopping at Chico’s and wearing age appropriate skirts.

The first time I was aware of my impending “expiration date” was upon turning 25 and realizing, “oh my god, it’s all downhill from here, what else do I have to look forward to”?

We are taught as women from a young age that youth is our greatest currency.

It is reinforced everyday in books, in movies, on social media and with every new ad that comes out promising to “turn back the clock” on our skin and get rid of any visible sign of aging.

As if getting older and gaining more life experience and wisdom is a negative that needs to be hidden.

Helping women become unapologetically ambitious, successful, and happy. It's time to kill your inner nice girl and create un fuck with able boundaries.
