Fractured, We Stand
We find ourselves back here once more,
Back at the breaking, back at the door.
Our trust lies scattered, our faith worn thin,
The weight of silence pulls us in.
Once, we moved like stars aligned,
Our names were warm, our voices kind.
But now, the sky is vast and wide,
Our words dissolve — unmoored, denied.
How do we mend what time unwove?
How do we heal what we barely know?
The fractures deepen, thread by thread.
Is this the shape we’ve come to dread?
We reach across the frozen air,
Our palms outstretched, met with despair.
Is there a way to bridge this space,
To find a path, to turn and face?
Yet still, hope lingers, soft but strong,
A whispered plea, a half-sung song.
If unity bends, let it not break.
If love still speaks, let it awake.
Boldly, we step — though weary, torn,
Scarred by the weight of trust outworn.
We bear the ache, the silent cost,
The echoes of what we thought was lost.
Yet through the wreckage, through the scars,
We rise, we walk, we reach for the stars.
