What I made 1st week MPP
A silly brag…
So, I recently finished applying for the Medium Partner Program. I was not sure how it worked especially monetizing the stories already written, which is a wonderful feature. Well, a couple of mine including, “Disney Dreamlight Valley” “A Poem” and “100 Followers” have made revenue.
Disney Dreamlight Valley-0.05
A Poem-0.04
100 Followers- 0.01
I am not sure how it works exactly. “A Poem” is my most popular story, but it was popular prior to being in the MPP. Now, that does not sound like a lot. However, this is my writing. A very intimate process and I just made 0.10 cents off of it. HOW INCREDIBLE!!! Now, I will never (most likely) be a huge writer with tons of fans, money, and cars. However, I am extremely proud of my 0.10 cents. Honestly, it inspires me to continue my journey on Medium. So, thank you all.
If you are struggling for 100 followers or feel this platform is hopeless…do not use this platform to get rich. It will not work. Write for the creativity and fun. Use this to make writing friends. I have had wonderful conversations through the comments of Medium. It can be what you make of it. Do not lose sight of your love for writing for 0.10 cents…especially in this economy.
