Donald Trump gives 8-month buyouts to all federal employees.

WASHINGTON― The Trump administration is imparting buyouts to all federal personnel who don’t desire to go back to work in the office, in a push to seriously lessen the scale of the federal staff.

The offer, outlined in a memo the U.S. Office of Personnel Management sent to personnel Tuesday, might give federal employees 8 months of pay and advantages through September in the event that they resign through Feb. 6.
