5 ways to improve your health.
As we start to implement our Goals for 2024, we try to
embrace positive changes for our health.
For elderly people, in the era of waves of viral infections, maintaining and improving health is a major goal.
Here are 5 goals :
1. Eat healthy food: Getting a balanced diet richer in vegetables and fruits combined with lean proteins, whole grains and staying well hydrated, and being mindful of portion sizes.
2. Regular exercise: is a key component of a healthy lifestyle. Whether walking most of the time swimming, cycling, or doing any aerobic exercise pays dividends for the entire year.
3. Getting social: the support of friends and families or simply joining a fitness club or walking or cycling groups makes any physical activity more enjoyable and increases interaction. Overwhelming numbers of studies showed that staying connected during the golden years is key to longevity and healthy life. Loneliness cuts longevity and weakens the immune system.
4. Consistency: is the mechanism of keeping the goals. The routine of healthy habits and regular checks with your health provider is the foundation of longevity. The journey to good health is a marathon, not a sprint.
