Are you in a waiting season? Waiting for love, a new job, or perhaps for something to just happen. You don’t know how long you’ll be here, but you know your time will come — because it always does.
10 minutes past your designated time, and you even got there early. What’s going on? Unease simmers into impatience, then frustration. But they haven’t forgotten you; they confirmed your attendance when you checked in. So, what are you waiting for?
35 minutes. Worry creeps in. Maybe they’ve forgotten? Should you ask? You do. “They’ll be with you soon,” they plainly inform you. You sit back down.
