Reflected Love

Asha
1 min readOct 14, 2024

Like two full moons your eyes hold so much mystery…Sometimes I’m scared to look into them because I know just what I’ll see —

Total acceptance, no fear of any part of me. It’s the kind of love I yearn for so why am I so wary?

To love my own reflection, despite the many complexions of my sins…

To look that deep within & still be able to lift my chin…

it’s so easy for you.

To see me and love me thru & thru.

& If the eyes are the windows to the soul it’s your love that’s wiped the dirt off,

Every layer of insecurity vanishes just by how you look at me — turning dirt into art, that’s just the power of the heart.

So all I can do is thank you, for choosing to see me each day.

And for giving me the chance to face myself, every time u look my way.
