10 Ways To Heal
In a previous post, I mentioned that healing isn’t linear, which is the truth. Healing is a whirlwind of staircases, dives, detours, stops and starts, and uneven terrains.
But that’s what makes healing fun; following the unknown and creating your path.
In this post, I will be giving you ten ways of starting the healing process. I started my healing process thirty days ago and have incorporated these ten things into my everyday life. The difference in my life has been because the steps I have taken can hopefully help you as well.
So, let’s get started.
- Find a therapist ~ I know everyone says to find a therapist, and I promise you that you will not regret the decision. Talking with someone who has studied the brain can help you understand what is going on within you.
- Create a consistent schedule ~ When I wake up, my morning starts the same. I wake up at six am, listen to brain-spotting music on YouTube, put my face mask on, and make breakfast. I stay off my phone for an hour after I wake up and prioritize myself through craft. The craft could be journaling, workbooks, working out, meditation, or yoga.
- Going outside ~ I don’t…
