When I wrote down the idea to write about this, I couldn’t help but feeling hesitant.

I mean, it’s not like there are already thousands of articles addressing this, right? If not millions at this point.

But, then I thought: If people really understood the mission of loving themselves, then we wouldn’t be lost in those thousands, would we?

Instead, there would be one or maybe a few to remind us again of what it’s really about.

I’m well aware this may be another article forgotten over time, but I’m yet hoping this will reach you.

When we talk about love for the self, we shouldn’t confuse it with self-satisfaction, vanity or complacency, because this comes from feeling superior to others.

It would be like we’re saying: ‘I love myself, because I’m doing this better than others.’

No, this won’t help us at all, right?

To love yourself, it means to understand your own uniqueness and to accept the way you are.

And yes! Allow this love to be(come) unconditional.

While we’re in the process, let us ask these questions:

How can I love myself…
