Where The Hell Have I Been?
Why I’ve been off Medium for a few months and what I’m doing now
I disappeared from Medium. And I’m here to explain why.
My last post was on June 29, 2023.
During my sabbatical, followers came in and people were still liking my old articles. I made a few bucks here and there. But I was absent.
My energies shifted and I wanted to do something new.
For those who have found me on this platform, I’m happy we were able to connect. So nice to meet you. :)
Still, I want to explain where I’m going as a writer.
Where was I?
I started on Medium in July of 2021. It was an outlet after struggling with serious burnout at work.
I needed a way to express myself creatively and let things out.
That’s when I found Medium as the perfect platform to just write.
I’ve had a few iterations on this platform and created a pen name at one point. I didn’t want to mix my work with my creative life.
But as my writing evolved, I said screw it and used my real name.
I was so excited about the platform and thought it was cool that you could make a little money.
