Does he really think we’ll let him escape this easily? We can be wherever we need, and no one will question us. The hospital was a breeze — now that was fun, they said with a chuckle.

He’s the only one who saw and recognized us for what we truly are. No one else knew that the shooter they were looking for was right there in the same room with the damsel in distress.
