Trump’s Plastic Straw Crusade: Making America 🇺🇸 Plastic 🧃 Again 🧐 ?
So here's the deal. Trump, doing what Trump does best, has kicked off a campaign to save America from. paper straws. Yep, you heard me. Forget about climate change, health care, or anything serious—according to him, the real problem is trying to sip a milkshake with a paper straw that falls apart halfway.
In a post to Truth Social, which probably left environmental activists in tears over their metal cups, Trump shouted "BACK TO PLASTIC!" and vowed to sign some executive order to curb Biden’s "dumb push for Paper Straws that suck." You almost see him slinging a drippy straw around in disgust while probably ruining an otherwise good suit while he was at it..
This isn’t the first time Trump’s been on this crusade. Back during his reelection campaign, his team sold Trump-branded plastic straws, 'cause what says "Make America Great Again" more than sucking down a milkshake with some good ol' plastic? ??
Meanwhile, Biden’s team has been working to ditch single-use plastics in government. But Trump looks like he’s ready to flip that, and it might spark a battle between federal and state laws over what kind of cups we use.
As expected, people are split on this. Some are all about getting their sips back to normal, while others are shaking their heads…
