The Marvels Could Have Been A Box Office Hit
But… Kudos to Disney and Marvel for ruining it
It's not the worst movie in the MCU.
The writing, though action-packed, feels rushed and disjointed. It’s one of the main reasons why this movie is receiving a lot of criticism.
So what could Disney and the MCU have done to turn The Marvels into A Box Office Hit?
Solution 1: Split this Movie into Two Parts
Two for the same budget… Why not?
The CGI was bad in this, although the action scenes were cool. The amount of money used could have done more to be sincere.
That aside.
The biggest problem most fans are finding with this movie is, that important information is relayed through exposition.
For example, when Captain Marvel destroyed Hala, the homeworld of the Kree Empire.
This, in itself, would have been a fantastic standalone movie.
Captain Marvel 2 (proposed sequel)
This sequel would address the following arising issues:
- How does Carol Danvers destroy Hala? Does Carol regret her actions after destroying a place she lived for many years?
