If you haven’t already seen it, you need to watch in which she details meeting, marrying and eventually eliminating a pathological liar from her life. (No, he isn’t dead).

What starts out as an innocent tale of romance quickly descends into a complete and utter hellscape for Reesa, who signed up to a dating app looking for love, not lies.

When I say ‘pathological’ liar, I mean it to the extreme. The man in question, ‘Legion’ (but his has since been revealed), drags Reesa through a year of false promises, sneaky behaviour and audacious lies.

From faking 45-minute phone conversations to visiting a graveyard his grandmother was not buried in, Legion uses every psychotic trick in his book to convince Reesa that he has a respectable job, can afford a new house for the pair, and has a solid relationship with family across several states.

But, oh, how he lied. And those lies are deeper and more entangled than you would have ever thought. Once Reesa reveals what she discovers through extensive detective work, you will be astonished. Gobsmacked. Bewildered. Shocked. Etcetera.
