Why do all conservatives have Tax Derangement Syndrome?

Any possible improvements for the life of all people in America are shot down by the conservative voter with ONE word: TAXES.

All conservatives care about is taxes, taxes, taxes, taxes. Nothing else exists, matters, or makes any sense to these people at all.

Here, however, is what makes sense to me:

Back when I was struggling to get started in my career and student loans took too much out of my paycheck for me to afford health insurance, I needed a hysterectomy and then my gall bladder out.

I have spent the LAST TWENTY YEARS paying for those surgeries, and I STILL HAVE $13,000 to go.

If I had had universal health care and not had that bill, maybe I would have retirement savings by now.

Since nobody wants to pay taxes because only taxes matter and nothing else does, The Great Orange God is starting to make noises now about ending Social Security, Medicaid, and Medicare.

(After all, these are only for lazy stupid people who didn’t plan anyway and nobody wants to pay taxes so everyone can have these things. Because only taxes matter. Obviously. Rush Limbaugh said so. And Ronnie Raygun.)
