Episode 6 Part 3: Venganza
Isabella’s treachery is finally revealed.
Previously: Olivar was brought to the roof of the Amalgem to become an ingredient in the bonding process between King Joaquín I and the Sidanelv Box. But after Allen hacked into the Sidanelv Box’s technology, Olivar took his chance to finally end his father’s life. But something stopped him. His mother, Isabella, is alive! Through the thick, unyielding rain, Olivar sees a ghost.
Isabella stands in her black robes, just as she did the day she disappeared. The city lights illuminate her from behind, her velvety hair cascading unbound, her scornful smile pulled back by terracotta lips.
“Hello, husband,” she says, amused. “You look radiant.”
King Joaquín’s light prison collapses in a shower of sparks, dropping him with a clattering crash of armor.
“No,” he pants, struggling to one knee. “It’s impossible!”
Isabella stretches with a cat’s elegance. “Only for you, my love. Nothing is impossible for me.”
Olivar stares, saying nothing.
Isabella turns to her son. “Nene, I’m so proud of you.”
She crosses the roof to wrap Olivar in a warm embrace. Shuddering with disgust…
