RFK Wants to Ban the Abortion Pill

They want it restricted pending further research, does that sound familiar to anyone?

He’s , possibly restricting its use to the first 7 weeks of pregnancy and also banning telemedicine so that it can’t be mailed across states.

Apparently he’s citing a paper that hasn’t been peer reviewed and was published by a conservative think tank that’s been embellishing effects of the pill.

There’s been over 100 scientific reviews of the abortion pill, and RFK is getting into a froth over one crank paper made by a right-wing group.

This is the problem with rejecting scientific consensus, all you do is allow partisan ideas to take its place.

The paper RFK cites recommends the FDA monitor the effects of the drug to “determine whether this drug should remain on the market.”

This the exact same logic I’ve heard in RFK’s ‘review’ on trans care for adolescents, the Cass Review and all the various articles praising the two. They won’t admit they want to ban anything, they just claim they want ‘further research.’ They say they want ‘randomized, controlled trials’ and act as if it’s obvious the process for trans care was done rashly.
