What A Day…

We arrived at the Hershey Park Stadium in Hershey, PA at 5:20 PM. The parking lot was packed. We parked at the first lot so that we would have less of a wait to get out at the end of the night. No one told us that meant a 3 mile walk to the Stadium entrance in 89 degree weather. Also after my back surgery a year ago I am not supposed to walk further than a few steps from the car to the house or the car to the store and back again. So it was a tough walk for me but with the help of my son and friends we got inside the stadium and to our seats just in time for the show to start.

The Steve Miller Bank took center stage at 6:00 PM on the dot. It was still daylight and super hot. But the excitement made us forget the heat and the music began and we were transported to a different time and place of past and present. I admit I love the songs from The Steve Miller Band but I never saw them live before. Now I have a new love for them after seeing them in person. They are spectacular.
