Here’s a story that, I believe, most of us can relate to in one way or another.
Most of us have, at some point, found ourselves caught in a connection that felt significant, even if the other person didn’t feel the same. Maybe it’s a friend who calls only when they’re lonely, or a “situationship” that’s never quite fully defined, or a relationship that leaves us drained and wondering.
This story is about recognizing those patterns — and finally breaking free from them.
Once upon a time, before the cycle began…
There was this boy, charming and handsome. I used to say he had “the face of an angel” because, well, he did. Do you know the Duke from the series Bridgerton? Well, there you go — that angel face, with a devilish smile and a kind of confident charm that could make anyone look twice.
