It has been a while since the last update, so here is an overview of what has been happening, including some exciting new features across our apps.

Email Login

We have switched from SMS to email verification for logging into the apps based on community feedback. For first-time setup, simply log in as you normally would, and when prompted, input the email address you would like to use. You will receive a verification email; once verified, your account will be linked to this email, and you can use it for future logins.

KMS (Key management system with our split-key tech)

We have introduced an experimental split-key feature that allows you to securely share a wallet with others while maintaining full control to revoke access at any time. This feature is particularly useful for businesses, enabling seamless file management and collaboration within a shared wallet.

For instance, you can create a shared wallet for your team by generating a split key in the Vault. This key can be shared with a trusted user or another account you control. The recipient will gain access to your wallet and all its storage allocations, including files, making it easy to collaborate on projects. You can revoke access whenever necessary, ensuring security at all times.

Marketing

Ads Campaign

Next week, we are launching a targeted ad campaign for Vult across multiple platforms, including Twitter, Google, and Reddit. These ads are designed to increase brand awareness, attract new users, and highlight Vult’s core values of user control, absolute privacy and secure storage.

On Twitter, we will engage privacy-conscious individuals and tech enthusiasts. Google Ads will help us reach a broader audience through search and display networks, while Reddit will allow us to connect with niche communities, particularly those interested in privacy, security, decentralized technology, and user control.

Sales Team

We have set up a dedicated sales team to focus on acquiring enterprise clients for Blimp. Blimp is strategically positioned to appeal to businesses seeking a secure on-prem solution that is safer, easier to use, and can be deployed in minutes — saving both time and resources compared to traditional storage setups. It offers significant cost savings, reduced disk usage and carbon footprint, always-on data recovery, and high performance without egress or API fees.
